MAHEK DAIMA
Mahek Daima! a student currently pursuing political science honours, at St Xaviers College, Kolkata. She is interested in international relations. She aspires to become a diplomat for her country in the future and serve the Indian Foreign Service. Gender inequality, social inequality, working of international organisations are areas in which she has keen interest.
ROHITASWA DAS
Rohitaswa Das is currently pursuing a BA Hons. degree in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He has a keen interest in international relations, and that is the main reason behind taking up political science as a subject. He enjoys reading, writing and playing football. Sometimes he plays the piano, and recently, he has started learning French. He enjoys watching movies, and listening to old rock music. He is also interested in debating and quizzing.
TIYASA BISWAS
Tiyasa Biswas is a second year in the Postgraduate & Research Department of Political Science at St. Xavier's College. She is pursuing a major in Political Science with a minor in History. She has also completed a multidisciplinary study in Sociology since she is passionate about understanding the complex interplay between the three that influences human behaviour in a given environment. She participated in Sansad’24 in the Mock Parliament as a delegate. She is also learning French from the Ramkrishna Mission Institute of Culture. Outside of College hours, she likes to read fantasy books as an escape. She is also very enthusiastic about analysing the political and sociological scenario in fictional worlds in popular media, such as Game of Thrones and Naruto. She enjoys crocheting and painting as her creative outlets and regularly participates in aerobics and swimming.
SHREYA DATTA
Shreya Datta is currently pursuing BA in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. Her interest in politics has spilled over to all aspects of life from art to writing. She writes reviews of heist and crime movies and on the discography of any rock band. She likes to paint extensively and had art as a subject. She is am constantly surrounded by books, film, art and music at home, which has been greatly shaped by Calcutta and its icons.
