ANUSHMITA SHAW

Anushmita Shaw is a Political Science Honors student at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. She has reflected on socio-political issues through magazines, mock sansads, extempore and debates. Her strength lies in her ability to think critically and work collaboratively.  She is interested in art, music and Asian culture which allows me to think outside the box and come up with creative ideas and innovative solutions to problems. She is deeply intrigued by the pressing issue of climate change in Asia with rapid economic and population growth.

AAHIR BANERJEE

Aahir Banerjee is currently pursuing B.A. Political Science Honours at St. Xavier's College Kolkata. She completed her schooling from St. Agnes' Convent School, Howrah. she finds himself drawn to International Relations harbouring keen interest in global politics, diplomacy and the events that unfold in the world stage. Her hobbies include painting and dancing. In the future, she hopse to work with the Ministry of External Affairs as an IFS officer.

ARYA RAJHANS

Arya is currently in her second year of college, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Her academic interests are diverse and include International Security, Indian Foreign Policy, conflicts in the Middle East, and issues of displacement and migration. Arya has conducted research on Middle Eastern conflicts, focusing particularly on the Afghan crisis. This has fuelled her passion to understand global political dynamics and related humanitarian issues. Arya is an avid reader. She also loves writing stories and poems, and has been doing so since a young age. Arya’s literary works have also been published. She enjoys listening to soothing classical music and pop, meditating, and journaling.

Amal T Joseph is an aspiring student with a keen interest in the evolving dynamics of international relations and their profound impact on domestic affairs. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science at St Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, Amal has developed a robust understanding of global political landscapes and the intricate ways in which international developments shape national policies. Beyond academics, Amal is an active member of the National Service Society, where they engage in the development of society. With a strong passion for global affairs, Amal is eager to bring his analytical acumen and enthusiasm for international studies to the assigned role.
